The Junior League of Atlanta's 6th Annual ShamRock ‘N Roll Road Race, presented by Verizon Wireless, is fun for the whole family. Join us on Sunday, March 14 for the 6th Annual Race at Atlantic Station. Wind down after the race by listening to great music, checking out our local vendors and maybe winning a door prize or two! The post-race party will have a special area for runners' children and their four legged companions. Kids can play games and have their faces painted while fido enjoys special treats and toys.

This fantastic race is a USATF certified course and can be used for both 2010 and 2011 Peachtree Road Races. For information on qualifying for the Peachtree, please visit the Atlanta Track Club's website.

Kilt wearing runners invited to run either race! This is a family and pet friendly event. Dogs and strollers are welcome and will be lined up at starting line behind other participants.

The Race begins and ends at Atlantic Station, on 17th Street west of I-75/85 in Midtown and will run through the surrounding neighborhoods. Entertainment will be provided on the course including the bands Stratogeezer and ConSOULtant, along with fantastic cheering sections to keep you moving!

Race Packets

Packet Pick-Up Party at American Mountain in Vinings Jubilee (www.americanmountain.com) on Friday, March 12 from 5 - 9 PM; Saturday, March 13 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. or race morning at Registration desk. Registrants will receive a moisture-wicking, technical running shirt. Party will have refreshments and door prizes.

Awards and Doorprizes

Post race party includes refreshments, entertainment from bands and Irish dancers! Prizes awarded to winners of each gender in these categories for both 5K and 10K: overall, overall masters, top three for “10 & Under” to “70 & Over” in five-year increments. Special awards for first kilt-wearing finisher and first JLA Member! Door prizes will also be given out by randomly drawn bib numbers to registrants in attendance. You don't have to win the race to go home with a prize.
