For over 96 years, the Junior League of Atlanta has played a pivotal role in shaping our community. As an organization, we remain committed to empowering our members to serve as catalysts for positive change throughout Atlanta, working collaboratively with our non-profit partners.
Our organization of diverse women relies not only on the volunteer hours of our members, but the donations and sponsorship of those throughout Atlanta. In turn, we can continue our support of the wide variety of programs that empower women and children to become self-reliant.
JLA Annual Fund
A big thank you to all of the donors to the JLA’s Annual Fund. The JLA Annual Fund is used to directly support our mission by supporting our community partners, placement activities, community outreach efforts and membership training. All donations are tax deductible. 82% of each dollar directly impacts the community through grants and training JLA members to be effective volunteers.
Without the tremendous support of generous corporate sponsors, the Junior League of Atlanta would not be able to make such a large impact on the Atlanta community. The JLA is grateful to these wonderful sponsors for their support of our efforts. Note: The Junior League of Atlanta’s fiscal year runs from June 1 to May 31. Please note that revenues maynot equal expenses in a given fiscal year. JLA governance requires a budgeting process whereby the funds earned one year are budgeted and planned in the second year, then spent in the third. The Junior League of Atlanta, Inc. is classified as a public charity under section 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code. The JLA is also exempt under section 501c(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
