Sustainer Groups

Below is a list of “social” groups available to Junior League of Atlanta Sustainers. For more information on these groups or to join, please go to the click the Member Login section, and go to Just for Sustainers section.

Cheers Groups

All Sustainers in The Junior League of Atlanta are encouraged to join our "Cheers" social groups! Cheers groups provide Sustainers an opportunity to get together on a regular basis in small groups of 8 to 20 people for lunch or other fun events. There are both day and evening Cheers groups. These informal groups provide interesting and varied social activities for members. SAS (Sassy Active Sustainers) Group is a Cheers group tailored for our new and recent Sustainers.

League Sustaining Transfers Group

All Sustaining members who have transferred into the Junior League of Atlanta are eligible to join the League Sustaining Transfers club. LST welcomes and promotes friendship among Sustainer Newcomers to the Junior League of Atlanta to acquaint them with volunteer services of the League and to have fun. Any Junior League member who transfers in good standing as a sustainer is eligible for membership. The eligibility will extend for one year after she is contacted by the Welcome Chairman. To support the group, LST members pay annual LST dues in addition to their regular Junior League of Atlanta dues.

Sassy Sustainers

This group originally targeted individuals who recently became Sustainers (and many may still be working on a League project or two); however, this fun-loving group welcomes Sustainers who want to stay connected.  Gatherings are held quarterly, typically early evening, for a wine tasting.
