Breakout Session: Inclusion: What is Inclusion?

Simone Bonnejonne is the Membership Manager of Grantmakers for Southern Progress, a network of national and local funders investing in structural change work throughout the South. In her role, Simone cultivates relationships with new and current members, creates intentional engagement opportunities, and helps funders build meaningful relationships with the communities in which they are investing. Previously, Simone served as a Jewish communal professional for several years in Metro Atlanta.

Simone is passionate about pursuing equity and justice for all. She is Board Chair for the Southern Jewish Resource Network for Gender and Sexual Diversity (SOJOURN GSD), a member of JLA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, and a member of the American Jewish Committee’s (AJC) Black-Jewish Coalition steering committee. In 2021, Simone was recognized as one of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Atlanta’s 30 Under 30. She is a proud graduate of the ADL’s Glass Leadership Institute and Supermajority Education Fund’s Majority Leaders program.
