Yolanda brings over 20 years of talent acquisition, diversity & inclusion, and human resources experience from a host of global companies including, The Coca-Cola Company, Siemens, Westrock (formerly RockTenn), and Amazon Web Services [AWS], with experience recruiting early career, experienced and executive talent, diversity talent acquisition, employer branding/recruitment marketing and workforce planning. Most recently, she was the Global Diversity Recruiting Leader for the Sales, Marketing & Global Services business unit at AWS where she led a team responsible for delivering strategic talent attraction solutions. Currently, Yolanda consults with organizations across various industries to deliver sustainable, inclusive practices that better enable them to attract talent, retain top performers, and achieve superior business results.

In addition to her career journey, her passion to impact the communities around her led her to the United Way of Greater Atlanta, where she served in several leadership positions including chair of the African American Partnership [AAP] Cabinet for four years and currently leads AAP’s Events Committee. Yolanda serves on the Leadership Council of The POSSE Foundation Atlanta and is an active member of The House of Hope – Atlanta’s Social Justice ministry. She has served as a mentor in the Year Up Atlanta and with the Atlanta chapter of NAAAHR, the National Association of African Americans in HR.

Yolanda is a native of Richmond, VA, and a graduate of James Madison University [JMU] where she studied political science. Since JMU, she has acquired her PHR certification in human resources management. She’s also received certificates in inclusion & diversity from Cornell University & the University of South Florida, respectively. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with family & friends, especially outdoors. Trying out new recipes, traveling, and attending sporting events, concerts & festivals, allows her to balance work & life.
