The Little Black Dress Initiative is an advocacy effort that creates an opportunity for JLA members to engage our Atlanta community to start difficult but important conversations about those experiencing poverty in our city.
There are so many Atlantans lacking basics such as food, water, shelter, clothing, education, and healthcare. We are able to open up a conversation about the hurdles that create these gaps in resources and share how everyone in our community can take steps to improve the lives of those experiencing this. We also share our work the JLA does to facilitate needs through our advocacy and service with the funds we raise through LBDI and our other fundraising efforts.
