Neha’s Story

Neha’s message:

Though generational poverty is often referred by many words, only one action will suffice – to eradicate it. As an advocate for Little Black Dress Initiative, I believe that the words we use for generational poverty are often band-aids covering the real truth it often hides. We as a community must come together to get to the root cause of poverty and do what we can to end it from the start. Whether its access to quality education, safe and affordable housing, nurturing daycare for children or more, we must do what’s in our power to ensure each of us have equitable access and resources.

It’s like my dad often says, “When you help one, it helps all.”
