The Junior League of Atlanta, Inc. (JLA) Empowerment Award is designed to honor and reward a client of a community agency who has overcome adversity to achieve self-sufficiency, as well as the agency who assisted her in the process. Both the individual and the agency receive a monetary prize and the individual receives a ‘prize package’ of goods and services donated by local businesses.

This year, JLA will select three agencies and award recipients; one from each of its three platform initiatives: early childhood education, generational poverty and human trafficking.  Please download the application form to nominate an agency and a woman with whom your organization has worked with for a period of at least six months.  To submit your completed application please email it in Word or PDF format to communityawards@jlatlanta.org and mail one copy of your paper application with all attachments to:
