When & where is the Shamrock ‘N Roll Road Race?
Saturday, March 16th, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. at Atlantic Station.
What are the route options?
The Shamrock ‘N Roll offers a 5K and 10K with the option for chip timing or not. There is also a 1K Kids Fun Run.
Are strollers allowed in the race?
Yes. For safety reasons, participants with strollers will begin at the back of the start line.
Are dogs allowed in the race?
Yes. For safety reasons, participants with dogs will line up behind runners at the front of the start line. You have the option to register your dog at the time of runner registration.
Are awards given out to participants?
Medals are given to the top 3 timed finishers within each age group. We will also give out fun prizes to our most festive participants.
RACE DAY LOGISTICS
What time does the race start?
The 5K and 10K take off at 8:30 a.m. with the Kids 1K at 10 a.m.
Where do I park?
Atlantic Station offers ample parking in their parking garage. Parking is FREE for the first two hours. We recommend entering the parking garage from Market Street by way of 17th Street. Once inside the garage, you will want to head to any of the below colors/stairwells as the majority of race activity will be taking place on District Avenue between 17th Street and the new Central Park.

Where can I pick up my packet on race day?
Packet pick up will be located just south of stairwell 14 between the corners of 17 ½ Street and 17th Street. Reference Atlantic Station map here.

Registration will also be located just south of stairwell 14 between the corners of 17 ½ Street and 17th Street. Reference Atlantic Station map here.
Where is the Start Line?
Both the 5K and 10K will start on 17th Street in front of the BB&T/17th Street Office Tower. Reference Atlantic Station map here.
Where do the race proceeds go?
Funds raised by the Shamrock ‘N Roll Road Race support the mission of The Junior League of Atlanta, Inc. Race proceeds help train and educate the membership of the JLA for effective community service, as well as to financially aid projects and programs of the 90+ community partners where JLA volunteers serve.
When and where can I pick up my race number & t-shirt?
Race numbers and t-shirts can be picked up at our partner running store, West Stride, on Thursday, March 14th, and Friday, March 15th. Both days 10:00AM through 7:00PM. West Stride is located at 3517 Northside Parkway, Atlanta, GA, 30327. You also have the option to pick it up on race day, Saturday, March 16th, at Atlantic Station starting at 7:30AM. We do encourage getting your race numbers and t-shirts at West Stride, if possible.
Am I allowed to pick up a race number for someone else?
Yes, you can pick up race numbers for someone other than yourself.
How do I transfer my registration to another person?
Instructions from Active.com:
Note: Please Claim Registration in My Events first if you cannot see it in My Events.
- Click Transfer registration
- Enter the recipient’s email address at Email address
- Enter the recipient’s email address again to confirm at Confirm email address
- Click Submit
A confirmation message appears verifying that the transfer process was initiated. The accepting participant will receive an email inviting them to claim the registration.
How do I transfer my registration to another race category?
Note: Please Claim Registration in My Events first. The change category option is only available if the organizer allows this action. If this option is not available, please contact the organizer directly for help.
- Find the registration you would like to edit
- Click Change category
- Select new category
- Click Continue
- Fill out registration form
- Click Continue
- Review Order Details and complete order
Note: Category change for registrations made by someone else on your behalf (if you are an adult) can be edited by that person or by yourself after you Claim Registration in MyEvents.
Note: Registrations for those who are part of a group-registration team cannot be changed from participant side, please contact the organizer directly for help.
Note: Participants can only transfer to a category that is open. If the category you would like to transfer to is sold out or closed, please contact the organizer for further help.
How do I get a refund or cancel my registration?
As Junior League of Atlanta is using all race proceeds for fundraising, no refunds or cancellations are offered. We do offer the option to transfer your registration to a ‘Phantom Runner’ category or you can transfer your registration to another participant.
