A Catalyst for Positive Change
Focused on improving the health, education and welfare of women and children, The Junior League of Atlanta, Inc. serves as a much-needed resource to more than 90 non-profit partners in the Atlanta community.
This year alone members will provide over 34,000 direct service hours to non-profit partners and will serve nearly 750,000 at risk women and children. The JLA Leadership Institute will also issue the first Leadership Development certificates - magnifying community transformation as the recipients serve other non-profits with advocacy, board readiness, marketing, fund development, and volunteer management skills.The JLA advocacy programs will continue to tackle critical issues, such as early childhood education, commercial sexual exploitation, generational poverty, and childhood obesity.
