The Junior League of Atlanta is a member of The Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI). The Junior League has evolved into one of the oldest, largest, and most effective women’s volunteer organizations in the world, encompassing 150,000 women in 291 Leagues in four countries.
AJLI supports the Junior Leagues in their fulfillment of the Mission—to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women and improve communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Founded in 1921, AJLI provides consultation, information, resources and valuable training opportunities to League members so that every League continues to be a vital force in its community.
