Apply for Membership

The Fall 2026 Provisional Class application window has been extended until June 28, 2026.  

Are you interested in becoming a member of the Junior League of Atlanta? Any woman who meets the following requirements is invited to join:

  1. Attain 22 years of age by the end of her Provisional term (there is no maximum age to join!)
  2. Reside in the Greater Atlanta Metro Area
  3. Demonstrate an interest in voluntarism and a commitment to community service, with most community service activities taking place within a ten-mile radius of the Atlanta city limits, and
  4. Be able to devote time and resources to JLA programming and events in a meaningful way.

If you meet these criteria, please follow the steps below to begin the process of joining.

Step 1: Complete your profile

Once you have created your profile, you will receive an email verifying your account. Please note that this is not the application for membership. Forgot your profile username or password? Please call Headquarters at 404-261-7799 or send an email to info@jlatlanta.org.

Step 2: Attend an in-person or virtual open house

Join us at an upcoming Membership Open House to learn more about the JLA. Our open houses provide an opportunity to meet and greet with current members, hear more about JLA and its impact on the community, and receive additional information about the application process and provisional year requirements. Attending an Open House is a required part of the application process. Register for an upcoming open house below.

Date: June 23, 2026

Time: 6:30 p.m. 8:30 p.m.

Location: JLA Headquarters

 

Step 3: Submit your membership application

Return to the profile you created to access the online membership application. Complete the application and pay a $75 application fee by Date June 28,2026. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and acceptances are sent by email. Any application received after this date will still be reviewed for acceptance but will then be considered for the Spring 2027 cohort.

Step 4: Complete enrollment in the Fall 2026 Provisional Course

In addition to the Application Fee, all accepted applicants must submit 2026-2027 dues and the provisional course fee to complete enrollment in the Fall 2026 Provisional Course. Upon payment, you will receive confirmation of your place in the Fall 2026 Provisional Course.

Please note that this process is for new members only; if you have ever been a member of the JLA or any other Junior League in the past, please follow the steps to reinstate or transfer your membership.
