The Spring 2027 Provisional Class is now accepting applications. 

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Junior League of Atlanta (JLA). We are excited to connect with you and guide you through each step of the membership process.

If you are currently, or have previously been, a member of another Junior League, please contact your current League to initiate a transfer into the Junior League of Atlanta.

If you are new to the Junior League, we invite you to attend a Membership Open House to learn more about our organization before submitting your membership application. Applicants must be at least 22 years of age at the start of the class and reside within the Greater Atlanta metropolitan area.

Before applying, we encourage you to consider the commitments of active membership, which include:

• Successfully completing the Provisional Program
• Fulfilling active membership requirements
• Paying annual membership dues
• Supporting JLA’s mission through volunteer service, leadership, and community impact initiatives

Step 1: Create an online profile

Once you have created your profile, you will receive a verification email to activate your account. Once your account has been verified, return to your profile to complete the remaining steps. *Please note: creating an online profile does not constitute an application for membership.

Step 2: Attend an in-person or virtual open house

Our membership open houses provide an opportunity to learn about the JLA and meet with current members, hear more about JLA and its impact on the community, and receive additional information about the application process and provisional year requirements. 

Attending a Membership Open House is a required part of the application process. RSVP for our upcoming Membership Open House through your online profile.

Step 3: Submit an application

After attending a membership open house, you will be eligible to submit an application for membership. Return to your online profile to access the online membership application. Complete the application and pay the $100 application fee.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and acceptance decisions are communicated by email. 

We encourage you to apply early so you can be paired with a JLA Ambassador. Your Ambassador is a current member who will meet with you in-person to answer questions, share her experience, and help you learn more about the League.

Step 4: Enroll in the Provisional Program

All accepted applicants are expected to submit membership dues and the Provisional Program course fee within 30 days of receiving their acceptance. Once payment has been received, you will secure your place in the Provisional Program and gain access to upcoming JLA events.

*Please note: attendance at the Provisional New Members Retreat is mandatory.
