To transfer to The Junior League of Atlanta, Inc. (JLA), you must notify your CURRENT League. The procedure varies by League, so it is important to check with your League, your membership directory, or contact the corresponding secretary for guidance.
The Junior League of Atlanta enrolls new transfers in its Transfer Education Program, which is designed to acclimate new members to the League. New members who have transferred in by October 15 are placed in the fall transfer class, while new members who transfer between October 16 – February 15, are placed in the spring transfer class.
Sustaining members from other Leagues are welcome to transfer their membership to the JLA. We have a robust Sustainer program with affiliate groups, including groups solely for Sustainer transfers, Sustainer events and opportunities to mentor and advise active membership.
