Shamrock 'N Roll Runners, Walkers and Tot-Trotters Find Their Own Pot of Gold
The 8th Annual Junior League of Atlanta’s Shamrock ‘N Roll Road Race presented by Verizon Wireless and Belk was a huge success.
More than 2100 runners, walkers, kilts, strollers and dogs hit the streets of Atlantic Station to
help raise funds to train and educate the membership of the League for effective community service, as well
as to financially aid projects and programs of community partners where League volunteers serve.
Highlights of the post-race festivities included:
- Verizon Wireless Street Team positioned at the start/finish area, cheering on race participants and demonstrating products from the company’s premier device lineup.
- Belk showcasing the latest in sportswear
- Star 94 at the start and finish
- Piedmont Healthcare as lead wellness sponsor
- Stratogeezer at the finish line and Fonix Entertainment DJ along the course
- Irish-themed entertainment
- Food and drinks including Aquafina, Dole Fruit Snacks, Mix1, Krispy Kreme Donuts and Trader Joe’s cookies
- Sponsor booths including West Stride, Best Self Magazine, Operation Boot Camp, 1-800 Got Junk
