About the Shamrock 'N Roll Road Race
Kick off your St. Patty’s Day celebrations with the 8th Annual Junior League of Atlanta’s Shamrock ‘N Roll Road Race presented by Verizon Wireless and Belk on Sunday, March 10, 2013. The Shamrock ‘N Roll features a family friendly 5k, 10k and the Leprehaun Dash for Gold Tot-Trot for little runners ages five and under.
Shamrock ‘N Roll Fun for the Entire Family
The Shamrock 'N Roll Race is stroller and dog friendly and fun for all ages. Runners and walkers are encouraged to wear kilts for both races. The Tot Trot, 5k, 10k and kilt run start and finish at Central Park in Atlantic Station. Shoes hit the pavement starting at 8 a.m. with the Leprechaun Dash for Gold Tot-Trot, 8:15 am for the 5k and 8:30 am for the 10k with both races ending at Central
Park.

Highlights of the Shamrock ‘N Roll Race fun includes:
- Nike technical running t-shirt for first 2500 runners
- Cotton t-shirt and ribbon for all Leprechaun Dash for Gold Tot-Trot participants
- Chip timing
- Star 94 at the start and finish
The fun continues after the race with the Shamrock ‘N Roll Post Race Festival with presenting sponsor Belk headlining the festivities. Belk will showcase the latest in sportswear.

Post Race Festival:
Celebrate after the race wit refreshments, entertainment, and door prizes.
Timing:
Times will be kept using chip timing and will be available online same day. Both the 5K and 10K are Peachtree qualifiers.
Awards:
Prizes awarded to male and female winners for 5K and 10K for overall, overall masters, and age group winners. Plus gift certificates for first kilt-wearing finishers, first dog finishers, first stroller finishers and first JLA member for each race! Door prizes given out by randomly drawing bib numbers to registrants in attendance. You don't have to win the race to go home with a prize!
Directions:
The race starts and finishes at Atlantic Station Central Park.
About the proceeds:
All monies raised through fundraising efforts of The Junior League of Atlanta, Inc. are used to train and educate members for effective community service and financially aid projects and programs of our local community partners. We are committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. We are exclusively educational and charitable.
