Partnering with The Junior League of Atlanta

The Junior League of Atlanta (JLA) partners with community agencies that reflect our mission, vision and values.  Focused on improving the health, education and welfare of women and children, the Junior League of Atlanta provides much-needed volunteer resources and funding, and serves as a catalyst for positive change through our partnerships.

Each year, the Junior League of Atlanta invests thousands of volunteer hours to community agencies and programs that support empowering women and children to become self-sufficient.  This year, Junior League of Atlanta will contribute more than 75,000 volunteer hours, valued at nearly $2 million dollars, along with $250,000 in grant funding to our community partners

Community Placement and Outreach Partners

The Junior League of Atlanta has hundreds of trained volunteers who each commit 50+ hours of direct volunteer service to certain partner that we consider to be our "community placements."  The League also provides funding for special programs that our volunteers support through service at these organizations.

In addition, the League partners with community agencies in other creative ways through various outreach programs that include advocacy, drives for items such as children’s books and clothing, “done-in-a-day” projects, and providing League members the opportunity to serve as a member of our partners' Board of Directors.
