What does JLA 100 mean to you?  Was it an opportunity to celebrate an awesome achievement?  Did you feel inspired to set and accomplish some BOLD goals?  As we reflect on the impact we have made leading up to JLA 100, we must admit that service was and continues to be the cornerstone of our accomplishments.

We want to close our 100th year with a BOLD gift through our Sponsor A Star campaign.  This campaign will focus on supporting two of our community partners who embolden young girls in the Atlanta area – Estrellitas and Girls on the Run Atlanta.  In honor of our upcoming Shamrock race, we are asking our members to donate new and used athletic shoes that we may donate to these organizations.

You may bring your new and used athletic shoes (all sizes needed) to the February GMM or you can drop off a pair at JLA Headquarters.  If you are attending the February GMM, we challenge you to be BOLD and wear a pair of shoes that you will donate at the end of the meeting.

For those that are “on the run”, we have an Amazon Wish List established so you can click and send some shoes to HQ.  Let’s help our girls see what being BOLD really looks like.  Rise up and give shoes!
