What is The Junior League of Atlanta’s Tour of Kitchens?

The 21st Annual Tour of Kitchens will showcase 14 of Atlanta’s finest residential kitchens created by the city’s most celebrated kitchen designers. The event will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Many of the elite chefs in Atlanta will perform culinary demonstrations in various homes on the self-guided Tour.

What is Toast of the Tour?

The Toast of the Tour event kicks off the Tour of Kitchens. This event incorporates culinary demonstrations, hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails, and an evening of fun featuring a spectacular silent auction enjoyed by approximately 600 patrons and designers.

When are the JLA’s Toast of the Tour and Tour of Kitchens?

The Toast of the Tour is Thursday, March 22, 2018.

Tour dates are Saturday, March 24, 2018 and Sunday, March 25, 2018.

Where will the JLA’s Tour of Kitchens take place this year?

14 homes in metro Atlanta will be featured on this year’s Tour of Kitchens. A program and a mobile application will be available in February 2018 with the home locations, a map and directions to each house on the Tour.

What types of tours are offered?

The JLA’s Tour of Kitchens is a self-guided, self-directed tour, which may include uneven or steep terrain.

How much are tickets?

  • Tour of Kitchens tickets are $35 in advance and $40 the weekend of the tour. Tour tickets are valid for both Saturday and Sunday of the event. (All tickets mailed for the event will be charged $1.50 shipping fee).
  • Toast of the Tour tickets prices:
    • $50 until January 31, 2018
    • $60 from February 1, 108 – February 28, 2018
    • $75 from March 1, 2018 – March 22, 2018
  • Please note Toast of the Tour tickets are available at will-call only; tickets many not be purchased at the door.

Are there group discounts?

No, we do not offer discount group tickets.

Do you off children’s tickets?

No, we do not offer children’s tickets for the Tour of Kitchens. Children 5 and under are free.

How can I purchase tickets?

You can purchase tickets through the website by clicking here  or by visiting the Junior League Headquarters (3154 Northside Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30327). The JLA headquarters hours are Monday – Thursday from 8:30 am – 7:00 pm  and Friday from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.

Where do I pick up my tickets?

If you purchased will-call tickets, you may pick up your tickets at JLA’s Headquarters (3154 Northside Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30327) beginning Wednesday, march 1st through Friday March 23rd. The JLA headquarters hours are Monday – Thursday from 8:30 am – 7:00 pm  and Friday from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.

Will you mail my tickets to me?

For an additional $1.50 shipping and handling fee per ticket, tickets will be mailed to the address you provide.

Is transportation provided for the tour?

There is no transportation provided for the Tour of Kitchens. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes as this is a self-guided tour, which may include uneven or steep terrain.

Where do I park?

Parking is available on the streets surrounding the homes on the tour. Please follow parking instructions at each home.

Do I have to tour the homes in a certain order? Do I have to stay with a group?

No, the Tour is self-guided and you are invited to see the homes in the order you chose. The most convenient route is included with a map and directions in the 2018 TOK program and mobile application. JLA volunteers will be in each home to answer any questions, along with the Kitchen Designers who will be able to discuss the special features of the kitchens.
